Arrest follows investigation into late-night shooting

Police said officers located Perez Villanueva on January 26, 2026 near the 200 block of San Bruno Avenue as he entered a vehicle associated with him. He was taken into custody without incident.

Police reported that a search of the vehicle led to the recovery and seizure of a shotgun. Perez Villanueva was booked into San Francisco County Jail on a homicide charge under California Penal Code section 187.
